The Firelight Lantern Festival aims to engage, delight and inspire the people of Prince Edward County in an inclusive celebration of the arts.
Artists Krista Dalby and Susanne Larner lead more than a dozen community lantern-making workshops in the month before the festival, culminating in a lantern parade through the streets of Picton that ends at the Crystal Palace, with performances and installations to dazzle your senses!
For the fifth annual festival in November 2017, Crazy Dames and the team at Spark Box Studio were invited to activate a portion on the Crystal Palace. Together, we created a maze of 6 interactive installation spaces connecting to the festival theme of Fire and Ice.
