PUBLIC ACTION: NIGHT SCHOOL
Tuesday June 25th, 2013 at the OCAD U Student Gallery
Jennie and Sara discuss the common ties in their current research and work, introducing their different perspectives as visual artists and a soon-to-be urban and cultural planner. They specifically discuss how their divergent work focuses on how people experience the spaces we live, work, study and play in and introduce ways of merging their different fields of practice.
As a group, we explore the questions "How can we plan for the experiential? Is it possible to approach city planning WITH arts instead of focusing on planning FOR the arts?" and develop a written or visual proposal for the future planning in the area.
